On my way to work today one of my fellow "sharers of the road" blessed me with some spit on my face. Based on forensic evidence I think he was chewing tobacco as well. I was heading south about 45 mph and he was heading north. Now I assume it was a male, but honestly that is profiling based on the evidence. I didn't actually see the perp. I had traffic all around me and I honestly couldn't have told which car did it. I was stunned for a minute... thinking that %^&*( actually spit on me.

However, if it ever happens again, that person get's it x2.

Have you folks ever experienced anythng like that?

I've been hit with cigarette butts and I've had to dodge fast food trash.
Funny story, when I was a kid me and my sister where going to church with my grandparants.
Grandma hacks a green lougy out the front window and it flew in the back window and hit my sister in the face.

I've heard stories of the "Big Blue Splash"...
A couple guys were following a 5th wheel trailer - the driver didn't secure the waste tank cap - it was splashing out and hitting the pavement and when they stopped and looked at each other they had blue dots all over them... nasty stuff...

Hmmm, that sux. I've been hit by large bugs and the occasional bird but not that. I'm hoping with the fairing and windshield those experiences are gonna be limited?

Well if would have had the windshield it might have helped, I dunno.

The worst bug experience I had was a giant dragonfly. It felt like I was punched in the face.

I was heading to Corpus a couple of years ago in the middle of the night. My bike was acting up and I started changing lanes to move to the right shoulder and this HUGE pterodactyl took off from the road at the same time... I swear the wing span was 20 foot... dang near took my head off :icon_eek: ... it's possible that it was Chupacabra... but a big one.

Who told you that story? It was me and I got splashed along with HM. Just got us a little just enough to piss me off. Luckily we ride with full face and leathers. Clean-up was easy and only took 3 hours. :icon_laughing:

Yeah the windshield helps but I was super slabbing it and hit one of those big green beatles with the mirror and that sucker exploded all over me behind my windshield. It covered my right side - face, sun glasses, helmet, jacket... by the time I stopped for gas the stuff dried and was rock hard... I looked pretty funny taking a bath in the windshield washer bucket at the gas station.

I meant to comment on the poopoo stew... that is way worse than redman. Really... At least they had the blue stuff in it, I suppose that made it less funky.

Not motorcycle related but the other day took wife, kids and grandkids to Pizza Hut. Parked truck specially away from trees and other vehicles. I come out hour or so later and the whole driver side was splattered with pidgeon poop. Its a white truck..it looked like a picasso. I guess as the birds flew as a group from their perch they released at the same time over my truck....it was a conspiracy I tell you.
