Was it inevitable? Did it really HAVE TO HAPPEN One of the best parts of our bikes is the AIR COOLED simplicity and not having to deal with the whole system of containing boiling hot water Long Live the EVO Engine 1994 was a Fine year for Road Kings!!
You can have it cheap. You can have it fast. You can have high quality. PICK ANY 2....

I think you're yanking my chain!!
I just went to the HD website and looked at the new Ultra and the closest thing I can come to water cooled Harley touring bikes was... and I quote the website
"Twin-Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103® Engine
If you started in 1909 with the very first Harley-Davidson V-Twin engine and worked your way up through every engine, every innovation, every improvement, every ride, every durability test in all those years and countless miles since, you arrive at the Twin Cooled High Output Twin Cam 103™ engine. This is the top of the line. 103 cubic inches of air and precision cooled Harley-Davidson® V-twin power.Twin cooling cools the heads around the exhaust ports to deliver at or near peak performance under all operating conditions and temperatures. "
I don't see WATER/LIQUID cooling anywhere - although it is a little obscure - they don't come out and actually say it...
Show me what you saw, that made you think they were going liquid. I think they are yankin your chain!

The new line-up of 2014 Harley's are now featured on the HD website.

The dressers are looking a little like GW and Victory like in some cases in my opinion. I think the fairing looks Victoryish. And wow what a big step of change regarding the sound system/audio on the dressers. Not sure how I feel about that. I'm glad I got my 2012 Ultra. I like everything but the 17" front tire.
To expect to be perfect is unreasonable, to strive for perfection is reasonable. 2015 Ultra Classic Low.

I am not ready to trade Mertle in on a new Street Glide yet, but I do like the LED lights, the new faring, touch screen, and bluetooth audio.

+1 on the touch screen radio. If I wanted a water cooled Harley I'd ride mine in the rain.
