Has anyone demoed any new HD motorcycles lately? Would like to hear what you thought about them. How about any non HD? Lets hear about your opinions.

Just demoed a streetglide CVO out. Took it on a 10 mile loop on the highway and some city streets. Had some nice acceleration and stopped well had the ABS brakes on it. Like to see how it runs loaded down with gear and passenger. All around I gave it a 8.5 rating.

Our local dealer has a freebie hamburger on Saturday's and I went down last week took a new Road king out...
Apples to apples- my old bike is slower but maybe just cause Im so used to it it felt more comfy to me and handled better... I don't know if I'm just biased. I did find the new bike was faster and had much more pull in all gears.
Also looked at the street glide - sat on it but I didn't take it out. I don't know if I'm ready for a radio yet...

I reeeeealy like the this year switch back. They had a bike show at fire bird lake. Let us test ride any bike we wanted. It has all the handling and response of a Sporster. But the size and comfort of a touring bike.

I bought a 2012 Ultra 2 months ago. I like a HD, always have and rode them most of my life. To me they are the best bikes in the world barr none. However there are a couple things that annoy me on the new Ultra. The kick stand is suspect and you better pay close attention everytime you kick it out to park. The tire air stem while tucked out of the way in the rim makes it difficult to check or add air. And thats about it. The 6 gallon gas tank is awsome. Don't even need to think about gas until 160 miles and then I still have 2 more gallons. 6 speed tranny is cool-----6th gear 70 mph doing 2500 RPM, motors hardly working. And the 103 CID is quicker then snot. Have yet to feel any concerns about the heat. That new fatty 180 back tire is long over due. Getting use to the 17" front tire. I do have a slight front end vibration in 3rd gear at 35-37 mph, not sure what that is and am having that looked into. Could be any number of things. May have a slow leak in the front tire. Put front tire at 40 psi and 2 weeks later its 20-25 psi. Low air pressure can cause some vibration.

To expect to be perfect is unreasonable, to strive for perfection is reasonable.
2015 Ultra Classic Low.
