Wicked foggy out there. That was how it was in the morning when we headed out to Wells BEach.

That pic was taken at 10am - looked more like dusk.
I knew from previous experiences that once we got over the next hill the change in altitude would leave the fog behind. The only problem I was having that morning was remembering which hill it was... :icon_confused:
I kept thinking it had to be the next one.

All worked out well - :icon_thumbsup:

We had a great ride to the Railway Museum and on to Tom's Farm for a pleasant lunch with a couple that also rode in.

For all intensive purposes riding season is over.

I did get out briefly yesterday between rain and windstorms the sun came out and got to about 60 degrees. Its already snowed here once and looking to snow again tomorrow. Most gear is stashed for the winter, helmets and coats put away. Tank full. Just need to battery tender and cover. Spouse is glad to have her dining room table back(where I kept various helmets and jackets etc..for the season. EZ access). I don't know why we even have a formal dining room we never use it but Thanksgiving and Christmas....

I know what you're sayin - just put all the beach gear away, coolers chairs and umbrellas. Had everything piled in the corner of the kitchen - now I'm getting the house ready for the holidays and company. I keep the helments on the sofa - just easier. I stow it all when I have people over.
The change over has happened out here - night time temps dip and day time highs are 10 degrees cooler these days... Perfect for riding :icon_laughing:
Just another perfect day - I love LA!! :icon_mrgreen:

Perfect riding day,...glad for you. You missed a bit of riding due to your repair down time.

If we get that freak indian summer day like we do sometimes, I'm outty for the day.

I missed the best part of the year - July, August, Sept and part of Oct... It's nice down here by the coast but up in the mountains its Fall - 50's in the sun. It's all good - we do the desert rides this time of the year - lots of roads out there to ride.

Hope you guys back east/north get some last rides in before the snow hits.

working 40-50+ hour weeks leaves little wiggle room.......seems to be nice on my days on and sh*tty on my days off. It was beautiful and weirdly mild yesterday....working. Off this weekend....we'll see.
