The bell you are referring to is your road guardian Angel. This bell is suppose to protect you from the road gremlins. The proper way to recieve the bell is from another person other than a family member.this way you are protected from the angels above. My question is who protects the dang bell from falling off Ive lost three already,I guess the Angel is in the dealers pocket at 15 bucks a bell. The bells instructions tell you to mount it low on your bike as close to the gound as you can mount it.It is suppose to swing as you drive down the road sweepig the Gremlins as you move down the road. The rest is history,God Bless you- ride safe- and keep your wallet close. as the gremlin bell wants your MONEY- It is easier to go to your local church and have you and your bike BLESSED

Polish the Bell

It has been a tradition among some of us, for a long time, to run a brass bell on the left swing arm, to remember our brothers and sisters who have gone down riding. It's a small thing, but the reason a brass bell is chosen is that as we ride it will get dirty and tarnished. Every time we get down and wash and polish it, we are reminded of friends lost, and our thoughts turn to the meaning of being in the wind. As we ride, and hear the bell ring, we know that our brothers and sisters are riding with us. How easy it would be to join them with a single mistake. And maybe, just maybe, the next time a situation comes up, they will be there to help us as long as we remember them by:
