:icon_sos: :icon_sos:so I just got a 1984 lowrider. has a 81 shovelhead and a 4 speed off a 83 fxwg. :icon_rip: when I take off in 1st gear.. or low rpm, it shakes and shutters. and is really hard to shift. well the other night when I went to go riding it got stuck in 1st or 2nd gear and now I can not move it or shift it.. it is stuck in gear... any help would be appreciated ... thanks

Sounds like a tranny rebuild? But clutch adjustment to start at lowest check point?

If you cannot get it out of gear when the engine is off then rock it back and forth while tring to shift into neutral. It sounds like you could have a linkage problem or worse the forks inside the trans could be bent. Hard to tell without taking it apart. Good luck hope you get it worked out.
