Hello all,

Last night, while watching Friday's coverage of the B-J Scottsdale auction (I always PVR it now; can't stand to watch it in real time due to the five-minute commercial interludes) I saw several Amos Minter-restored Baby Birds cross the block.

They are obviously high-dollar restorations and always sell for big money; I saw one Gunmetal Gray E-Code bring $270k! But it got me to thinking, if one of these Minter Birds came up for judging at a VTCI event, would it actually LOSE points for being "over-restored"?

Please help.
Thank you.

They say if it is OEM there is no such thing as 'over' done.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.

Paint can be over restored, the factory does not paint that well in past years, extra chrome.
With motorcycles unrestored is what gets the top doll,ar and this is a motorcycle site.
