Can a bad battery cause no left turn signals and no brake lights? Thanks

Anything is possible but unlikely in my book. If the bike starts and runs on its own the battery is good. If you need a new battery it is a wise decision to get one if you are riding the bike and want reliability. I would think that you need to chase down some wires to see if they are hot or not. The wires should be color coded and should not be hard to do.
