Hey everyone, brand new to the forum, and a new Harley owner. I own a 2000 Sportster 1200 Custom. I have had Jap bikes in the past, and this is my first Harley, and I love it. My older brother was in the Pagen's back in the 60's and early 70's, and built choppers almost full tiime in our basement. I always wanted one, but could not afford one until I bought this used sportster. Anyway, I am happy to be in the fold.

I want to say I also just joined this forum. Like yourself I started out on Jap bikes as well. I became bored with them. A friend of mine steered me to the Harley Davidson line of motorcycles, and my Sportster is the only motorcycle I have. I wouldn't ride any other brand now. I also hope we get more member's involved in the Sportster site. Ride Safe, James Bradley
