I don't know about the clunk but you might want to take the durby cover off and do a visual that the oil is not at an overflow level. You should not over fill the primary. I think that it is 29 to 32oz and not any more. But check the specs on it as this is just off the top of my head.
The synthetic oil could make it slip. It did that in my sporty.

ok an thank you for your time and help. i just changed the primary oil with valvoline 20-50 made for wet clutches the shop manual tells you to use regular oil thats made for motor cycles not synthetic i don't use synthetic oil i use regular oil made for motor cycles and that is what i put in the primary. same as the engine oil 2/1/2 quarts in the engine and 32oz in the primary. again thank you for your time.
