Yikes, there isn't that much room there!

Come to think of it, there probably isn't that much room on my bike either. My battery is to be changed out, more correctly, it probably has been by now.

Found a nice luggage rack from Motherwell...much sleeker than those marketed by H-D.

Update : The 8-cell battery just didnt have the mojo needed for this high compression engine so I will be going back to the stock H-D offering and find another way to secure the ECM.

Breaking news is the soon to be added turbocharger. Here is a pre-shipment photo...

Turbo looks way cool...
You're going to need to "strap" yourself on so you don't slide off the back on "Take Off"

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....

Looks like a hot setup. :icon_thumbsup: Why don't you start a new thread on your turbo I'm sure that their will be a lot of interested members looking at it. I have a bunch of questions as I may want to do this to a sporty myself. :icon_clap:

I may do that glider. I do have one other point of interest concerning the cost/benefit of turbo's vs NA or big bore kits. Money spent on a big bore kit is lost forever...I can't think of anyone who has claimed it enhanced the resale value of their bike. On the other hand, a turbo can be removed and sold or transfered to another bike...one then has the original unmolested engine which is often more desirable to buyers. Dollar for dollar this point alone makes the turbo the best deal out there hands down.

I agree with you on this, I like the idea that you can take it off and reuse or sell. Please start a new thread on this as this thread has already gotten over 750 views. I am very excited on hearing every step that you took to install and run it. It will be very interesting and great to share it with the members here. In this thread it just gets lost but on a thread something like "Turbocharging my Sportster" will be very active. :icon_thumbsup: Thanks
