So I found these on Amazon from a previous post (can't remember who) and I was wanting to add more light to shine when braking instead of buying a $200.00 LED aftermarket light.

So, I want to tap these into the brake light and see if it will help.

I don't think I will need any special flasher since I will still have the stock 1157 bulbs.

So the plan is to drill two holes in the stock tail light cover an insert these.

What do you think?

I'm an LED Fan.

I did a conversion to my passing lights with some LED's I got off EBAY.

I wound up going through various sets until I settled on the ones I have now.
I thought the first set of lights I bought would be the fix - not really. Then I did an upgrade to that, then a new type of bulb came out and I went to that. Started with 3 watts then 7 then 11. 11 was the minimum.

Your upgrade should work - but - you can't really know if it's what you want until you get it done and see if it does the trick. Tail lights probably don't need the same output as a head light.

Get 'er done - i'm curious to see how it comes out.

Well some one mentioned a 2357 incandescent bulb.

Here is a web link to lumens etc.
https://www.webbikeworld.com/Motorcycle- ... -bulbs.htm

Then someone said check these out but I can't find out the lumens on the wide angle ones.

So I'm in investigation mode.

Rollbar,

They look cool I might try some reflectors type lights with them. Have fun!

Not yet. I decided to run the 2357 bulb and it is better/fills up the tail light pretty well. I do have the badlands module that makes all the rear light up/run/stop/turn BUT I have to work out a wiring problem. Then I'll probably proceed.

I just put some air shocks on the ole girl and now I have some room to work.

I added a lay-down tag plate and not sure where to mount them now unless I drill two holes in the stock red tail light cover. Might just do that since I have been thinking of it since day one and they are cheap on the internet.
