really don't want the certified tech to even put his finger on.bad experience with my 74 shovel. and that bike doesn't even have a security system on it .
I really thank GOD for buddies who know a thing or five. and the Harley Forum so people like myself
can get help or at-least get pointed in the right direction.
thanks for the feed back
The certified tech the g-d of motorcycle repairs! They would of fixed something that wasn't broken and given you back your bike only to find out when you tried to start it the next morning you still have the problem.
Hey topgear you show your age. How do I know this it takes a lot of problems like this to finally learn how to read the manual. Not getting down on you I'm the same way NOW! It use to be that if something broke I would rip into it and take it all apart only to find out I just needed to turn a screw a half turn to make it work right. Now I just sit back take a deep breath and look for the obvious. I now tap myself on the back for saving myself a lot of time and effort putting things back together that didn't need to be taken apart in the first place.
Moral of the story is check the obvious first and then take it apart or bring it to your friendly neighborhood certified tech!
Thanks for getting back to us with the solution!
