My first post. I just bought my 2006 FXSTBI Nightrain, fantastic bike! But the previous owner modified it some (which I like) detach backrest, lowered, V & H shots, chrome air cleaner. My problem is he/she removed the turn signals to adapt the backrest. I like the backrest but I also like safety so I bought some aftermarket bullets. Thing is they don't fit anywhere without drilling a hole in the bobbed fender. Ouch! Anybody have this dilema? any solutions, advise or comments?

iv seen others that drilled the fender depends on tire clearence.
