My check engine light is coming on it goes off at idle come back on going down the road than it goes off than back on bike is running fine no missing and it idles ok. The only thing I can find wrong is it a qt. low on oil. I guess I better tell you what I have its a 01 FLHTCU and as far as I know its all stock just have brought this bike put about a 500 miles on it and yes I am new to these Fi Harley the last Harley I had was a 76 super glide so any help you can give me I will be greatly thankful and thank

First top off your oil and see if that was the problem.

IF the problem persists go to step 2.
check for loose wires and corrosion on connections.

Thanks road king that what I was planning to do think I will change the oil and filter the guy that I got her from said it was about time anyway while I am at it I will check for lose wire and such but thank again I'll let you know

Just checking in. Curious to see how things worked out for you. One thing I thought of after was make sure you check the oil in the position the owners manual specifies. My bike is check the oil on the Jiffy stand and check the transmission oil with the bike level...
