Hi folks, thought I'd join your forum. I've read several different ones and even joined another but it was a mistake. You all seem to have things done up right and I have especially enjoyed reading many of the conversations.

I've been riding for many years, saw a lot of this great country and met a fair amount of people. Right now I'm on a 2009 Heritage that I really enjoy, nothing glamorous and all stock, but it suits me well.

Since I don't have any questions or problems that need solving, I'm now going to look for a good conversation here, and maybe interject my unsolicited opinion.

Riding between the lines,

PD

Welcome. Sounds like you talk the talk and walk the walk.

I have as you have mentioned meandered, walked and wasted time thru other forums simply looking for either credible riders with serious miliage or at least those willing to at least listen and learn. Most with few exceptions that I have "met" are just the add water and stir key board commandos who recently traded their speed boat for a Harley and are automatically the bees knees.

Looking forward to hearing your adventures and stories. God bless the old timers. Let the unsolicited opinions flow, lol.

Thanks for the welcome BI and RK. I'm looking forward to participating here, I don't know how much I can contribute but I'm fairly fun to watch.

I'm sure you have some experience of interest you can share. Like why do they call you poor dog?

Ask enough women the wrong thing and eventually you will get the right answer, but back in '78, I struck out with a brunette in a bar just outside of Indianhead Md. She shot me down... tossed a drink in my face. It was sad, but the guys in my outfit thought it was funny as hell, and nicknamed me "Poor Dog".

I've led a sinful lifestyle, not saying it's right, but just worth the price of admission.

Riding between the lines,

PD
