Hi! I am new to the forum board and today I will be taking my very first ride on a H-D, and I was wondering if ya'll have any advice or pointers for me. I suffer from severe muscles spasms periodically through out the day and I don't wanna take my meds as they tend to zonk me out and I would like to be awake when I climb on back.
Any advice ya'll can send my way will be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!

Hey kitimom65, :icon_toocool:
Nice to hear that you are interested on riding. Take your meds, cause we don't want anything to happen to ya. Be sure to let us know how your ride went and that you made it ok! :icon_winking:

The ride was INCREDIBLE!!!
We went about 100 miles round trip (we crossed 3 counties here in Mid-TN)
It was kinda scary at first, but as we were heading outta town, i kinda relaxed and things just seemed to fit into place.
I did suffer one abdominal spasm as we were almost back to his place. The only real problem i had was my right foot (around mile 88 or so) got to hurting something terrible. I was wearing some cheap wal-mart sneakers and putting alot of pressure on the ball of my foot. So, I guess I am gunna have to invest in some good riding boots, as they would be cheaper than having the footboards installed on the bike, lol!!
Over all, it was an amazing trip and I am looking forward to next weekend when we gout back out again (He rides on a daily basis, but with my work schedule, it is easier for us to ride together on the weekends)
Thanks for the welcome.....Hope we can get some more memebers!!!

Hi kitimom65,
:icon_clap: Happy to hear that you had a great time! Riding can be very addicting. It is always good to have the right gear when riding, it makes for a more enjoyable experience and safer ride. :icon_winking: If you can post some pix of your trips in your gallery that would be great. I've been to the Blue Ridge and they are simply beautiful. Don't they touch TN?

Headmaster, the only pix I got were prior to us leaving while my man was shining up the bike but I would love to post them here!!
The Appilacians boarder eastern edge of Tennessee and the Great Smokey Mountians as well. We Do have a Blue Ridge Parkway which is a part of the GSM National Park System. I would love to see the Smokies in the fall of the year. I bet they are amazing!!!
(BTW and off subject, like your SN...my man would name me "Head_Misstress" tho!! LOL!!!
