Got on here yesterday looking for help with fuel inlet problem on my '89 Flstc. caught a discussion on removing the old plastic inlet with home made tool, used it today and pulled the old one out with ease. Don't recall who gave the info as I was not signed in as a member, but if you're the one who put it on here, thanks, it made the job quick and easy, much appreciated.

I did not give you the info, but your response is the reason why I'm here. I think this is where guys who actually own and ride Harleys come to waste their time. :icon_laughing:

I deleted all of the other Harley forums from my 'favorites' list. I want to talk to real guys who have bugs on their (functioning) headlamps. And it's gratifying to hear that even a newb or a lurker or a passing member recognizes that same impression.

(*ahem* Having said that, stir clear of Badinfluence. He's an old 'iron butt,' and if you haven't ground up at least two panheads into a fine powder he might not be able to relate to you. He recognizes obscure highways by their smell. In fact, the year after fire was invented he's the one who turned to a pre-pubescent Willie G and reminded him, "Hey, you dumb kid, it's one down and three up...")

"Imagine a king who fights his own battles. Wouldn't that be a sight?" Brad Pitt as Achilles in the movie 'Troy'
