Got on here yesterday looking for help with fuel inlet problem on my '89 Flstc. caught a discussion on removing the old plastic inlet with home made tool, used it today and pulled the old one out with ease. Don't recall who gave the info as I was not signed in as a member, but if you're the one who put it on here, thanks, it made the job quick and easy, much appreciated.

I did not give you the info, but your response is the reason why I'm here. I think this is where guys who actually own and ride Harleys come to waste their time.

I deleted all of the other Harley forums from my 'favorites' list. I want to talk to real guys who have bugs on their (functioning) headlamps. And it's gratifying to hear that even a newb or a lurker or a passing member recognizes that same impression.

(*ahem* Having said that, stir clear of Badinfluence. He's an old 'iron butt,' and if you haven't ground up at least two panheads into a fine powder he might not be able to relate to you. He recognizes obscure highways by their smell.
