I have been riding a variety of bikes for 35 years, and I have my 1st HD, a 2011 FLHTK on order. Should be here by the end of the month. My last ride, still for sale is a Kawasaki Nomad 1600 and I look forward to the upgrade in the ride. Doing some performance additions also. Stage 1 intake, V&H Fuelpak, V&H dresser duals, Screaming eagle slip on's (not loud ones), lowering F&R, tourpack quick detach. May add a Mustang seat shortly also. I am wondering if I should stick with the stock muffler to add some back pressure since the head pipes will not have the evil catalytic converter and it will be breathing better. V&H rep says the performance gains will be mostly at the top end the way I am planning to configure it and wondered if a bit of exhaust restriction, i.e. the stock muffler, would help on the low end.
Open to suggestions.
