I'm new here. I live in the San Francisco Bay area. Been riding for more than 30 years. I have ridden quite a few different makes, have owned a few of all types. A year ago I sold my 98 Sportster 1200S and now am down to one, my 03 Road King.

Welcome aboard! I live in Madison, Wisconsin, a city laid out much like your own. In fact, I have often commented that Madison is a poor man's San Fran.
In that manner, I built a San Francisco custom. More lower end inches/power, better suspension and a buttressed swing arm, full size gas tank and constant attention to my brakes. (While stock, I dream of Brembo's.)
Let me know if you know of some tricks to make Black Betty even better!
