Hey everyone. Just a note to say a little about me. I've been on forums before, every forum has its spellchecker lurking through its pages, so to you, I'm sorry, so be cool. Also I type slow, I'm a welder not a typist. I'm from Niagara Falls NY, in my early 50's, work in a factory, 33 years, married for 27, 3 kids, 2 Rotties, and some cats, I hate cats. I've been rideing since I was a child. Bought my first Harley, new, in 1979, a Low Rider. My next Harley was '82 FLH Dresser. I recently picked up a 1987 FXLR Low Rider Custom, 18,000 miles, needs tires for 3500 bucks. Had some metric cruisers also in the '70s and '80s. Many, many, dirt bikes, and enduros. Still have a couple. I need knee replacements, but Im to young, but they let me have a partial in my left knee cause I wore a divit into the lower leg bone. LOL ... I was only able to take a short ride on the FXLR when I bought it, the snow was flying already here. So I.m really not sure what the bike might need or what changes I might want to do. Being I have the knee thing going on, I think I might save up for a bike lift table.... So, looking forward to getting to know some of you... Rez

Welcome to another hybernating northern rider. The snow banks here in Mpls, MN is too high to see over, at the corners even in my Chevy truck. It will be a while till I get out again.
Good to have you on the forum.

Dan

Hey Rez,

This is actually my first time in a forum, I was home with the flu a couple of weeks ago, got bored found this forum and tried it out. Met some cool people and learned some things, over all it was a good experience. now that I'm better and back to work I don't find much time to visit.

Welcome to the forum. I'm with ya on the typing thing. I was a sheet metal worker / welder for 27 years, now I've held a HVAC mechanic position for the past 3.5 years. I'm live in buffalo NY, I am 52 years young. I am divorced, have a 19 year old son. I use to have a rot in the family, he passed shortly after the divorce, his name was Riggs. I also hate cats.

I rode dirt bikes growing up, I recently traded in 97 a fat boy on a 2011 street glide. I think were all feeling the aches and pains it's just a matter if we let them get to us or not.

Ride...Safe
