Hey canepole,
Welcome to the forum.. You look nice and warm in your full face sweater. Actually that pic reminds me of those little plastic army men that we played with when we were kinds, what do ya think. You must ride in some cold weather. Anyhow great to have you onboard!
Happy Holidays to all and to all a good night!

Yea I got the Hat from a Army Surplus place.. It is realy thick and does a darn good job.. I have dark glasses on under the hat.
What part of Germany are you from Mrsbumblebee, I use to live in Ludwigsburg, while in the Army , and as a dependent I was at a place called Mainz.. I love Germany, and would love to go back there for a visit.. Maybe one day..lol

Hey canepole, welcome aboard!! why'd you change your post dude, I got a big kick out of the dumping it at the red light story, we all got 'em. hell I dumped the rented hog in maui right out of the rental parking lot, never lived it down. Laughed my butt off. used to practice doing figure 8's until i'd drop it just so I'd learn where the envelope ended so I could push it that much farther the next time. never had an old lady ask me if she could help me pick it up though... good one bro!! by the way maybe when you get a chance you let us all know the "right" way to get it back on 2 wheels, see I didn't say get it back up... hahaha
You can have it cheap. You can have it fast. You can have high quality. PICK ANY 2....

Hi all - I am an older rider with 2 HD's. '78 fxs that is now 93" with a jockey shift. '96 fxd that has a 113" in it. Stock engine has new bottom end done by an indy and being rebuilt in my basement this winter. I ride about 10K a year and always go to Sturgis from my home in Mpls, MN. I enjoy turning a wrench in my garage, and usually do most all my own maint. I drew the line at doing the bottom end but the rest of assembly and reinstall I will do. Seeya, Dan
