Hi, I'm from PA. I was looking at a 85th Anniversary Softail Springer. Anybody have any comments, good or bad about it before I get in too deep? Thanks.

Hello and welcome! Nice to see another possible convert getting into Harley....

I love the way a springer looks...one of those bikes that invokes a nestalgic feel just looking at it...question though, are you coming from another bike or is this your first?

again welcome aboard.... :icon_cheesygrin:

I have a metric cruiser right now. 1998 V Star Classic (650 cc). I've ridden my whole life, never on a HD though.

Other than the fact that the handling will be a good bit different, that is a darn nice scoot to transition to HD with. Honestly I'm envious...if I'm not mistaken that one was originally called a Bad Boy when it was first made in the early nineties(?)...AWESOME looking bike with the FX frame and springer front end...

Let us know what you decide, but my .02 cents would be go for it! I've never heard a bad word about the model... :icon_clap:
