Just joined the forum today and taking advantage of it right away.when its extremely hot out and I'm driving at highway speeds the bike loses power for about 3 to 5 seconds spits and sputters but then recovers. Its almost like Im out of gas.I own a 2004 road glide with fuel injection. It only happens 2 or 3 times in the riding season but has me concerned that its gonna break down on a long trip.Theres no warning it has a mind of its own,the bike runs like a champ any other time, its really starting to piss me off. Has anyone had this problem when its hot.

Hey tmotorguzzi,
I had the same problem with my buell. I tightened all the battery wires and grounds and made sure that they were clean. Not just on the battery but on the engine too. I never had the problem again. If it still happens you may want to replace the fuel filter too.

Hope this helps.
