PKenney3 I live in mass. My brorher just gave me his 1979 super gluid.It has ben sitting for 4 years.I started removing elc. starter today.The ears are broken on aluminum starter housing.I need to read up on this job.I think the primary cover needs to be removed.The good thing is the motor is free it was kicked over evry time my brother took out his new bike. happy easter

Great to have you on the forum! Keeps us updated on your progress. Sounds like it will be a nice bike when you get it up and running for the summer. Good Luck and post some pics in your photo gallery.
