Brand New Owner

Hello Everyone,
Greetings from Philadelphia. My name is Greg and I just bought my first Harley. I bought a 2010 HD Electra Glide Ultra Limited. This is my 2nd bike, graduating from a Honda VTX 1300R. I actually went out looking for a Gold Wing, but didn't like the way the Wing locked me into position. I decided to stop by a Harley dealer to look at the Ultra, and after my test drive I was ready to buy. I look forward to sharing and hearing tips, tricks, and adventures on this forum.

Thanks for the welcome, Crane and bee.
I can't wait for the weather to break here in the Northeast (although I have managed to rack up some mileage on the scoot already).

Hey Bee - in what part of Germany do you live? My son was in Hoehenfels from 2005-09. We never got out to see him while he was there - although we did have tickets before a family emergency halted the trip. Bavaria looked beautiful from the pictures he sent to me.

Congrats on the new Ultra. I'd hold off riding if they use salt on the streets of Philadelphia ... wait for a good rain to wash that crap away ... then ride.

I hear ya Emu ---- It's brutal. They salted over the weekend as if we had a blizzard. We had 2 " of snow!!! At least they are calling for more moisture over the next few days; I'm hoping it will wash away the salt dust.
