Nothin wrong with riding like Rossi but there comes a time when you need to slow down. Riding a Harley will definitely keep you more grounded then a sport bike will in most instances. As for the wife she will just have to wait.

Ride safe and if you run into the guy at snake pass tell him to keep up the good work.

I used to live in the cold weather, I've done my share of riding in the rain and cold. I can tell you - I prefer the west coast... "Just another perfect day"

As for riding like rossi, I still like hitting the twisties and feeling the tires drift (a little)
