Hello from Idaho. Found this forum a while back and figured it would be a good place to get some info and hang out. I rode a 03 Kaw Vulcan Nomad for 9 yrs. and traded for 2012 Electra Glide Classic a year ago.

Just an ordinary average guy.

Welcome to the forum.

The Kaw Nomad is a cool bike but I bet you love the '12 E glide. Bought a '12 Ultra last year myself. I splurged. I traded in my 2 older HD's so payments aren't so bad. How about that 6 gallon tank eh,sweet. And that stock 103's not to shabby neither. Have fun with it.

To expect to be perfect is unreasonable, to strive for perfection is reasonable.
2015 Ultra Classic Low.

Welcomes gramps! So how does your HD compare to your Nomad?

I love my HD. Alot more comfort for my wife and I. We were looking at a Voyager but i felt the HD had better handling and ride. I haven't got a bad thing to say about the nomad. It was very reliable, and a good looking ride.
the 1500 FI ran great. I wish I could have afforded to keep it,plus it was payed for. I always wanted an HD and so far i have no regrets, and i don't expect to. One other thing, when we took took it for atest ride my wife said, oh yeh, this is th one we want. Made it easy.

Sorry - I read the first line and had to do a double take... I emphasized the parts I saw and came up with a different meaning in my head...my bad - LOL

The ride and handling of the HD is hard to match - I couldn't agree more.
The best part is your wife likes it too.
