My name is Harpo. I live in Louisville, Kentucky and just purchased my first motorcycle - a Harley Super Glide Custom. I picked up my bike yesterday in a most embarrassing way. Let's just say I was used to the throttle on the Buel Blast from my Rider's Edge class. Well, life was different when I rolled the throttle yesterday.

Very cool and congratulations! Nice choice.

If I understood you correctly you are a new rider. Please consider taking your time, at least this first season....you got your whole lifetime of riding ahead of you. Stay off the busy highways and high traffic congestion areas. Hit the back roads and for a little while don't ride at night.

Sorry if I sound over bearing, no offense. Up here there have been a rash of over anxious new riders who take the course and then head for the highway or a major rally and all kinds of calamity and hell happens. None of its been good.

Hey now Lenny. Hows by you.

Yeah I broke down and upgraded my iron. Difficult decision. No regrets.
