Looking for a new motorcycle. I am 63 years old in good shape usually goes on one 4 day ride a year and a few shorter ones. Currently on a 2001 Ultra Classic. Trying to decide between a switchback and a road king. Anybody have any thoughts or advice?

I would head over to my local dealer and test ride both bikes. I've heard alot of good things about the road king but nothing about the switchback. then read some consumer reports.

Yup, TheCarpenter is correct. Ride both bikes--as far as they will let you. Cold, in the rain, in tight fitting shoes and in uncomfortable pants if you can manage it. A test ride is short, but a +20K financial obligation lasts a really long time...

Tourist you certainly have a way with words. That couldn't be more true. Can I use that?

Sure, just leave a quarter on the commode...

ride both bikes, sit on both bikes, have your wife sit on the bike with you, eat a sandwich on both bikes, drink a coke... you get it... spend the time before you drop your dime.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....
